My Background
Hi, my name is Debra! I opened Handwriting Plus in January 2018 to help all students work on legibility and letter formation. I teach Print and Cursive, understanding increased writing demands on our children as they grow. I have worked in all grade levels with students between ages 3-18 on handwriting skills since 2009, earning my handwriting specialist certification in 2017.
Personalized Lessons
Handwriting Without Tears® is used for explicit teaching instruction. Tutoring sessions will be in your home, providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere, conducive for learning. Parent involvement is highly encouraged, sitting in on sessions or checking in periodically.

Kristie- This was a fantastic course for my 12 year old son. He did not receive cursive handwriting instruction through Humble ISD. Thanks to Debra, he is confident about his "official signature", his ability to read cursive better, AND be able to write more neatly because he can do it in cursive. I highly recommend! Aug 2019
